Leidie looks fab

My dear aunt Leidie is doing well. Although she shrank a bit she looks very pretty and perky. We had a great time. I almost danced home after my visit.

My mum sent me these photo's this morning. My other aunt - Leidie's sister Marieke - together with my mother went to pay Leidie a visit.

Where am I

This morning the sun was shining brightly into the little paradise where I am staying. It has everything: light, comfort, 'gezelligheid", tons of music and books, plants and a real television. The only thing missing is the soul of the place: Leidie. Still, I feel surprisingly at home.
Yesterday on the phone my aunt said she hoped to give me a mini-vacation in her house. Typical of her, I'm coming over to look after her and in no time she's changed the roles around and looks after me, even in her darkest hours.

Storm in Amsterdam

I am here in Amsterdam to spend as much time as possible with my aunt Leidie. Guess what, due to a heavy storm I can't leave her flat to go to the hospital. The trams hardly work, Central Station is evacuated and if I still think about leaving the house I am stopped by the picture of this huge tree that fell right outside the flatbuilding. Guess I have to postpone my second Leidie-visit untill tomorrow. grrr.......

Leidie

My dearest aunt Leidie is very ill. The last couple of days I didn't feel like writing and publishing silly images on this blog. I will go to Holland tuesday evening and will stay in her appartment. I can be reached by mobile phone but am very likely not on the internet. Maybe I'll find a hotspot in Amsterdam though. Is there a hotspot-guide?
